The Support Services Staff at Planware Systems takes pride in delivering
quality customer service to all of our software users throughout the United
States. Because our sales staff is an independent body, someone will always
be available for customer support during our hours of operation. Both
new and existing customers have the opportunity to receive the following
services that we offer for customer and technical support.
- Email support

We strive to give you timely turnaround for email and telephone technical
support
Our goal is to make your use of our software as painless as possible,
so when you call or email us with a problem, we feel an overwhelming
sense of responsibility to help you solve that problem. We will make
sure that we respond to your emails and telephone calls in a timely
manner, because we know that nobody likes to be left waiting for too
long. If we can’t resolve your problem right then, we can give
you an estimate of how long we think it will take and what steps need
to be taken to get closer to a resolution.
- Web server support
We use a Citrix file server in our Morgan Hill office for web server technical
support. We create a user account for you with your district data here
on our Citrix server. Through the Internet, you can run our programs
with your district data. This allows us to be able to shadow your work
and give support when needed. Some of our customers even have their
district data reside on our Citrix server full-time and do all of their
work over the Internet. For more information on our ASP services, please

- Online training
Besides conducting web server based technical support, we also can conduct
training. Training is conducted in two-hour blocks at a price of $150
per hour. Customers can purchase as many blocks as they need with usually
one block scheduled per day.
- Online tutorials
The Planware Systems web site has a special section for Customers only.
This is where you can download the latest program upgrades, request
web server remote help, and view tutorials in our Support section. Go
to the Customer Login page now.
- On-site training
School districts can request on-site training for a fee of $850.00 per
training day plus the related travel expenses. The training can be one-on-one,
hands-on in a lab facility for a small group, and as a presentation
to a large group in a conference style facility. When software is initially
purchased, the school district has a choice between on-site training
or online training and the price of that training is included in the
purchase contract.
- User manuals
User manuals are always sent out to new customers on their software CD in Adobe PDF format.
Because we are continually adding new features to our software, we periodically
update our user manuals and make them available for download from our
web site in Adobe PDF format.
- Seminars
When the need arises, we conduct seminars across the US and invite the
school districts in those geographic regions to attend. Cost of the
seminar is dependent upon how many school districts attend.
- Consulting services
School districts can hire us to do work for them. Need some streets
added? We can do that for you for a small fee. Need some custom reports
created? We can do that, too. All consulting work is done on an hourly
basis and the cost per hour depends upon the work to be completed. Call
