agreement with Puget Sound Educational Service
District

Planware Systems, LLC is pleased to announce that they have entered a business
relationship with Puget Sound Educational Service District (ESD) to offer volume
purchasing discounts to school districts throughout Pierce and King counties on their
flagship product MasterPlanTM with ONPASS® for school district boundary planning,
FORECAST/DSTM enrollment forecasting, and DISPATCHTM transportation.
ONPASS frees planners from time-consuming manual procedures in boundary and
demographic planning. ONPASS allows the user to simulate many situations, such as
closing or opening schools, adding new classrooms, changing attendance boundaries,
and assigning students to alternative school sites. Hi-resolution maps and detailed
reports facilitate board presentations. With the power of FORECAST/DS you not only can
predict student enrollment for up to twenty years and confirm the accuracy of the
predictions, but also simulate decisions for accommodating the growth or decline.
DISPATCH is an interactive Windows-based student transportation routing and scheduling
system that will determine the transportation eligibility of students, establish optimal bus
routes and schedules consistent with district policies. Transportation eligibility can be
based on constraints such as time and walking distances, bus capacities, grades, and
bell time programs. Bus routes are designed for multiple trips in consideration of school
bell times so that vehicle requirements are kept as low as possible.
A key feature of DISPATCH is the ability to create the Washington State Route Report at
the touch of a button.
